Delete Your Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your VolleyVision account (developer: VolleyVision) and the data associated with it.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the VolleyVision app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
- Your account and associated data are deleted immediately upon confirmation.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us and we'll delete your account for you:
- Send an email to volleyvisionapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.
- Use the subject line "Delete my VolleyVision account".
- Include the account email you sign in with so we can locate it.
We verify ownership of the account email before deleting, then process the request within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account profile (name and email address)
- Your volleyball profile (skill level, goals, preferences)
- Your analysis history and skill ratings stored under your account
- Your AI coach chat history
- Your account identifiers used for app functionality
Note: your videos are never stored on our servers — they are processed in real time to generate your analysis and are not retained. Any videos and analysis history kept locally on your device are removed when you delete the app.
What data is kept, and for how long
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained indefinitely to understand overall app usage.
- Transaction and billing records (e.g., subscription purchase records) may be retained for up to 7 years where required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Subscriptions themselves are managed by Google Play / the App Store — cancel there to stop billing.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days of deletion.
